Lessons learnt?

I waited and waited
with bated breath
I tried to shut out
my own voices
So that I could hear that one voice
which held the promise
of melody
I kept so silent
and strained my ears
so hard
that imaginary voices
came to life
but that one voice
failed to speak
it was burdened with untruths
it just couldn't reach me

as some days passed
i heard myself saying these words
and i realised
i was merely echoing myself
all these years later

5 down, many more ahead.....

This was said 5 years ago, and this is the motto even today. At that time it was meant for the readers, but very importantly, means for me to enjoy too! This blog has been my best platform for expressing myself.

Diary of Dan has been my dear friend all along! This diary shall continue to be written in spite of the owner's whims ;) :)

Shinotsuke

1. Japanese people really bow so many times!
2. Kanji chars on LED displays look pretty!
3. Japanese people are friendly, not so difficult to fall in place!
4. All big cities have similarities.
5. Tokyo reminds me of London!

I had heard about snow,
but never felt it upon me.
Till the day it fell
I had decided not to think of it.
When it did,
it appeared too cold,
too white.
Then on second thoughts
I lit a fire
and it melted away!

Five point something

1. Neruda rocks!
2. Some ideas are universal - beyond geographies, religions, languages.. Neruda demonstrates the same!
3. Good songs and good poetry - a beautiful combination.
4. Art rocks! Words and ideas get together to create nice pieces of art!
5. Thank god we have people translating such art for us!
