GAURISMS

Here are my friend Gauri's favourite utterings (in marathi):

Ved! he ved ahe!

Ek number!

Avraa!

Bhagwat!

This post is for my classmates, I'm sure no one else can appreciate this.

ROFL!

I can practically see Gauri shaking her head from side to side, half the class sitting in the MT lab, competing journals and Gauri coming in with a few shets from somewhere (getting them corrected) and screaming... "ved! he ved ahe!"

And the avraa that follows this scene after sometime!!!!!

Can't recall "Ek number" and "bhagwat" tho'

You get to hear "ek no." and "bhagwat" more on picnics.
ek no. - for everything that's nice and wonderful
bhagwat - chance pe dance : that's another Gaurism.

Hey K, keep commenting

How do you find the T-shirt?

I've heard chance pe dance plenty of times! And its funnier the way she says it, with her expressions and all!!

T-Shirt good... tho' the sleeves could have been shorter and neck could have been deeper... or atleast they could have got rid of the buttons for pete's sake! But then again, I can't imagine our HOD wearing it w'out the buttons... And the satellite on the back looks really *impressive* !!!!!!!

Yeah, her expressions....... :D

Hmm, it looks better when I button it. (coz there are buttons)

And yes, the satellite does look pretty neat.... You know, I happen to consider our Tshirt as my baby :P

Coming to think of it, 52 girls means 52 different ideas about how it could have been better, including the idea about scrapping the T-shirt all together. So rather than cribbing, I think all you girls deserve a biiiigggggggg round of applause!!

Psst.... mom was telling me that the colour suits my skin tone!

I still want the bags with the signatures of all the girls from our class

Or coffee mugs, if not bags

Or atleast a autographed blown up class photograph!!
