WHAT TO DO WITH AN EXTRA UNUSED PARABOLOID REFLECTOR?

Or the dish antenna, in simpler terms...
You could keep it horizontal on the ground, fill it with soil, and plant flowers in it! And then after some days, stand back and enjoy the flowers growing in your antenna!!!
... I actually read this in an IEEE Antenna and Propagation Society Proceedings issue. It also had a photo of the same!

P.S.: I'm doing a project on Microstrip Antennas........

You could have asked me, I would have told you this much before! Some people.... tsk tsk

That reminds, why in who's ever name would anyone, just anyone do a project on Antennae? Oops... maybe it was rude to ask, maybe I shouldn't have. Danny, I didn't ask that, its just that I don't want to use the backspace (as a concious efort to look ahead in life, as against brood on the past!)

The same reason, why you are doing your project on induction motors! (induction motors......!!!!!)
I feel antennas are very beautiful... esp. microstrip ones... (And I mean beautiful...)

Its not induction motors :p
There are no induction motors involved at all!
We're working with those lovely little things called micro-controllers... see, that even sounds so musical, unline Antenna!

But I must give it to you, the term microstrip gives me ideas :D

Ahem.. I think ur debate will reveal more of u 2 when it gets hotter.

K, won't those microcontrollers sit inside some motors? And hey, we have something in common - "micro"smthing. I need Agent R here, to keep you from getting any more ideas!

Sudhakar, I cannot in the least bit figure out what you're alluding to ;-)

This is the same as the deleted comment, only because of a typo, the link didn't work there!

Well, well Danny! They don't have anything remotely connected to induction motors in their line of work :-)

Those micro controllers are going to sit in a controller for hig voltage, high frequency single phase inverters used for Induction Heating Applications!

And cheers to the micro whatever!!
Yippeeeee!!

So That's all? No more debate on ur projects?

OK! Induction heating eqpt! I used to think it was all abt induction motors! haha
Sudh, why are you so interested in our projects??????

Danny, the keyword is to *ask*

And Sudhakar, it definitely interests me as to why are you interested in a little skirmish in here. Antennae Vs Micro Controllers......!

K & Dan,
"The same reason, why you are doing your project on induction motors! (induction motors......!!!!!)
I feel antennas are very beautiful... esp. microstrip ones... (And I mean beautiful...)" >>> I thought this statement is more esoteric.

I just figured one more thing you could do with the unused paraboliod reflector. If its small enough, you could wear it like a hat!

Or if its big enough, you could make a swimming pool out of it! (the swimming pool is Leap R's idea, btw!)

Now that she has suggested swimming pool, I thought maybe a mini-pond for your pet fish, or just a plain and simple dumping ground for clothes in your bedroom (mine are never in the closet, always all around the room), or or or.... if we get down to contemplate, we could come up with multiple ideas! Maybe we could run a contest or something!!

Sudhakar, really sorry to rob you of your entertainment, but I do not think I would like to get into a project debate, not when I know nothing of antennas!! The arguements will barely be cogent, and there wouldn't be any fun in it!

Hmm, great ideas Kathak and Pearl!
