I got another AVE joke... found it in my notes the other day.
Fault: I/O Ghost effect in the photoemissive Image Orthicon tube Reason: Secondary electrons hit the target over and over again and keep getting scanned by the scanning beam
Solution: a) Videcon Tube Kathak Solution: Multiple shots of vodka. By the end of it, you wouldn't know whether the ghosts are due to misbehavign electrons or perceived due to the vodka!
Btw, (:D) I liked that vodka reason! Must try it once, to see how the ghosts look like when drunk! (I mean when the viewer is drunk, not when the ghosts are drunk!)
Kurkure... I miss RMT lectures so much, and I miss our Devyaghar Trip also... all we ate was kurkure and kurkure and kurkure and so much of kurkure that we could have created multiple commercials for it!
I do remember Veer-Zara, its a date!
And I would not know the persistance of vision of dogs... why dogs of all things?????
Yeah, Diveagar was so much fun! And you were simply great - 3 bags of kurkure! I'll never forget!
R told me that the persistence of vision of dogs is not 1/16 th of a sec like us, so I think, maybe they can't watch TV like us, they'll need special dog-TVs! Or maybe theirs is still better than us, so they get to see still images on the screen!
Thats true the persistence of vision of dogs is faster so all they'll see on tv is a slide show of of assorted images . I think dogs are also colour blind. You must have heard of the dog trying to find a rainbow.
Anyway reflecting the words of kathak it's awesome to have you back posting .
Hello! I'm Dhanesha and I want to, and I think I can - become a full time writer, some years hence... This blog's kind of my personal canvas, to try out 'writing' and if possible share it with you, and record my thoughts...
About the blog title - the name 'Dan' has a simple school story to it that seemed kind of important to me at that time. I like the name, and makes for alliteration.. :-)
So currently I earn my bread testing software - writing hasn't begun paying me yet! Understandably :-)
In case you are curious - my interests: creative writing, reading, drawing - intricate designs, my friends, classical music, the German language, learning new languages, poetry, antennas, industrial design, Ravindranath, travelling, movies, tea - tea and coffee shops, and good people!
