PAK PAK PAKAAK, PAK PAK PAKAAK, PAK PAK PAKAAK, PAK!!!
"Pak Pak Pakaak" is one swell movie that I think everyone must see - especially those who can understand Marathi. It's written - directed by Gautam Jogalekar, cast - Saksham Kulkarni, Nana (NANA!!!!) Patekar and Narayani Shastri. I liked absolutely everything about that movie! The plot is amazing, the music and songs wonderful, the suspense is maintained well, and the acting is superb! For those who think there aren't good Marathi movies - I'd say they mustn't have seen Pak Pak Pakaak! Not only the kids, no one should miss this entertaining movie with the right mix of "sandesh", reality and slight masala! (and suspense.)
For those who wanna know what it's about, I'll just say, it's about a naughty boy and a ghost (!) and a village and friendship and appreciation. And it's about love and compassion, and not losing your mental balance, and believing that "Life is beautiful" (Jeevan sundar aahe), becoz --- life is really beautiful, and everything turns out to be fine!
If Pu. La. would have been alive, he would have simply loved this movie!

well well, i see that YOU havent been doing much either - so asking if i was hibernating isnt too good on ur part... :D
anyway, i havent seen parineeta, but now i dont know if i want to see it at all, hearing too many contradicting views... and abt life being beautiful, well, i tend to disagree... and i dont think it does turn out well in the end either - i guess its just too much of a mixture of good and bad that expecting everything would turn out well in the end is too simplistic... but hey, it cud just be my lousy attitude! :P
'tis so easy to encourage 'others' to write, isn't it.... :P
but i'd say u shud still see parineeta, if you have the liking for bengali novels of that kind.....
actually u r right.... not everything in life is good....... but you learn to notice only the good things after some time..... thinking of the bad things... it's just not worth our precious time.... and it's like life is beautiful for those who make it beautiful, like they say - beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder and all..... and hey, the least that one can do is to say that life is beautiful.... what say?
well, i must agree that its easier to encourage others...
abt life being beautiful, well, i guess i just learnt to look at the bad side too much... i feel "expect the worst, and u'd never be disappointed"... not that i am pessimistic, but i am not optimistic either. yeah u can make life more beautiful if u want to look at it that way, but i guess i just dont look at it that way...
Hmm.......... Actually ppl who know me, wudn't believe I wrote this....... I am almost pessimistic....... But now I'm learning to be optimistic........
Life is more fun being optimistic.........
